Dr. Taullie graduated from Colorado State University in 1995. She worked nights at a large 24 hour hospital in Omaha, Nebraska for a year and a half before returning to Colorado. She worked in Denver, Colorado for another year and a half. She came to the Arkansas Valley in 1998 with her husband Darrin. She worked for Colorado Vet Clinic for five years before opening Ark Valley Animal Hospital. She now lives in La Junta with her husband and two beautiful daughters. She designed and had this beautiful new hospital built in 2005 and she continues to grow and practice high quality small animal medicine at Ark Valley Animal Hospital.

Donna is a country girl and enjoys spending time with her family, camping, fishing and playing outdoors. She is a 4-H leader, serves on the Jr. Show committee, and enjoys watching kids grow through 4-H. Donna grew up in the Arkansas Valley, spent 10 years in Texas and then came home to raise her family.

Amy Lynn graduated with honors as a Phi Theta Kappa from Otero Junior College with an Associates of Science Degree in Biology and Education in 2015. She has multiple years of customer service and enjoys working with the clients and their pets. Amy Lynn is continuing her education with Penn Foster with a goal of becoming a certified veterinarian technician and looks forward to a long career with Ark Valley Animal Hospital. Outside the clinic, Amy Lynn keeps busy with her family, dog, two cats and her creativity of crochet and knitting.

Toni has been with us since 2006. She is the kennel staff supervisor and assists Dr. Taullie and the vet techs when needed! Toni has been married to her husband Brent for almost 25 years and has one daughter, Danica. Toni enjoys gardening, reading and of course spending most of her off time with her mini menagerie which include three dogs, six parakeets, seven pygmy goats, four chickens, one draft horse, one miniature donkey and one pot bellied pig! Toni is very dedicated and caring and that's what we love to see in our employees. (:

Terri has been with Ark Valley Animal Hospital for ten years.. She is happily married and has one son and one granddaughter whom she loves and enjoys dearly. Most of Terri's free time is spent with her granddaughter and caring for her pets. Terri 'loves working with the animals and all the staff at AVAH.' Her smile is sure to brighten anyone's day! :)

Nickey enjoys spending time with her husband, stepdaughter, family and friends. She likes to go camping, BBQ, 4-wheeling, horseback riding and is active as a basketball official. Nickey attended Animal Behavioral College where she obtained a certificate and became a certified veterinary assistant. Nickey has a passion for animals and loves meeting all the furry family members.
