Tracy L. Taullie, DVM - Veterinarian
|
Dr. Taullie graduated from Colorado State University in 1995. She worked nights at a
large 24 hour hospital in Omaha, Nebraska for a year and a half before returning to Colorado. She worked in Denver, Colorado for
another year and a half. She came to the Arkansas Valley in 1998 with her husband Darrin. They moved onto a small farm in Sugar City.
She worked for Colorado Vet Clinic for five years before opening Ark Valley Animal Hospital. She now lives in La Junta with her husband
and two beautiful little girls. She designed and had this beautiful new hospital built in 2005 and she continues to grow and practice
high quality small animal medicine at Ark Valley Animal Hospital.

Karen L. Donisthorpe - Office Manager
|
Karen joined our staff in march of 2003 as the office manager for Dr. Taullie. Karen
manages the administrative side of the practice. Born in New York and raised in New York and California (moved around a lot as a child);
she graduated from high school in Huntington Beach, California. She went back to school when her youngest son started kindergarten. She
graduated from Pueblo Community College with accounting and secretarial certificates. Karen also has a background in computers, some
programming and data conversion experience.

Aimee Ritter - Lead Veterinary Tech
|
Aimee has been working at Ark Valley
Animal Hospital since 2003. She was born and raised in La Junta, Colorado. Aimee assists in surgery, performs dentals, and assists
in the exam room, amongst many other things. Aimee is an animal enthusiast with four dogs (Seamus, Dakota, Bandit, and Sox - pictured),
two cats (Mama and Motor Mouth), two horses and a donkey (Sweet Cheeks, Thunder, and Nester).

Jo Simmons - Lead Receptionist
|
Jo began working as a receptionist
for a mixed veterinary practice in 1998. She has worked for Ark Valley Animal Hospital since 2003. Born and raised in Gunnison,
Colorado, she and her husband Rich, ranch south of La Junta where they raise registered quarter horses and corriente cattle. Jo
is also an animal enthusiast with three dogs, two cats, and an ornery cockatiel. As a life long lover of animals, Jo likes people,
and enjoys her job very much.
